Rensselaer Model Railroad Society's sprawling HO scale, multi-room layout is one of the best kept secrets in the northeast, hidden in the basement of an RPI dormitory since the 1970s. Today, the club needs a new 4,000 square-foot home, preferably in downtown Troy with public access.

In February, Hudson Virtual Tours scanned the thirty-five by 120-foot layout so that more people could experience this intricate recreation of downtown Troy, N.Y. and points north in the Hudson and Champlain Valleys. We hope our virtual tour will encourage the public to help the society find a new suitable home.
